Can I adjust my RV reservation?
At TX RV Adventures, we are happy to accommodate certain changes to your reservations. However, it is important to note that some changes require an adjustment to the rental rate. These are based on current rates at the time of change.
Moreover, changes are also subject to availability. In addition, we do not permit changes after the deadline for cancellation has passed.
Also, reservations are non-transferable, meaning that we cannot permit name changes for reservations. The person who placed the reservation must be present at the pickup appointment. Additionally, they must possess a valid credit card and current driver’s license.
Can I tow a car or boat behind my motorhome rental?
TX RV Adventures permits towing with any size of our motorhome rentals in Houston, TX. However, not all of our campers allow for towing. Our motorhomes are equipped with a receiver hitch, which means you must provide your own tow bar. We charge a flat $100 tow fee to accommodate use on our Houston RV rentals.
Unfortunately, we do not provide additional towing apparatus or hook-up services. To prevent misuse, we keep our hitches locked at all times. If you intend to tow a vehicle, please notify us prior to departure. Tow weight must not exceed 5,000 lbs.

What coverages do you provide for rentals?
In order to offer our guests peace of mind in their travels, each Houston RV rental includes coverage in three areas in excess of minimum automobile coverage against third parties as required by law. You can find these details in your rental agreement. Here is a rough outline of the coverage we provide.
- Supplemental Liability Insurance covers you up to $1,000,000 for rentals in the United States.
- Responsibility up to $1,500 for Vehicle loss or damage per occurrence. This is provided you follow the Terms and Conditions laid out in the Rental Agreement. Upon an incident, you should promptly report any damage.
- Moreover, renter should avoid any prohibited use of the RV rentals.
- Expense reimbursement plans offer up to $3,000 in the event of mechanical breakdowns that require extensive service.
