RV Rental Delivery
Circuit of the Americas
Race Weekends in Austin
An RV waiting at your spot when you get to the track
Race weekend at Circuit of the Americas is three long days on your feet in the Texas sun. The people who enjoy it most are the ones who can walk back to a bed, a shower and air conditioning between sessions instead of queuing for a shuttle back into Austin.
We deliver the RV from our lot in Spring to your reserved spot at the circuit, level it, connect it and hand it over. You arrive with your bags. On Monday we come back and collect it. Nobody in your group tows anything and nobody drives a coach they have never handled.
The weekends we run this for
Circuit of the Americas hosts the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas, NASCAR Cup Series racing and IndyCar, along with festivals and concerts through the year. The Formula 1 weekend is the one that empties every hotel room between Austin and San Marcos, and it is the one worth booking earliest.
Grand Prix weekend is also the one where an RV stops being a luxury and starts being the sensible option. Three days of grandstand tickets and a hotel forty minutes away, with race day traffic on both ends, costs more and delivers less than a coach parked inside the grounds.
Getting the RV to Austin
Circuit of the Americas sits southeast of Austin, roughly 170 miles from our lot in Spring. Delivery is $350 for the first 25 miles and $10 per mile after that, which puts a run to the circuit at around $1,800 for the delivery and the collection together. We confirm the exact figure on your quote before you book.
That mileage is measured one way, but it pays for four one way trips. We drive out to you, back to the lot, out again when your rental ends and back once more. Fuel is billed separately at the end of the rental.
Give us your arrival window and your spot number and we work to the circuit schedule, not ours. Race weekend gates open and close on a published timetable and we would rather be early than argue with a marshal.
Your camping pass comes first
Circuit of the Americas sells its own RV and camping passes through the event ticketing, and the good spots sell out long before the grandstands do. That booking is yours to make. Once you have the confirmation, send it to us with the spot details and we deliver to it.
You also need to be at the spot when we arrive. Most venues, the circuit included, will only admit the named pass holder, and a driver turning up with a coach and no resident gets stopped at the gate. Plan to meet us. It takes about half an hour to get you set up and walked through the systems.
If your pass is for a campground off the circuit rather than on it, that works exactly the same way. Tell us where and we deliver there.
What to book for a race weekend
Most Grand Prix groups take a Class C or a bunkhouse trailer. You are sleeping and cooling off in it rather than living out of it, so beds and air conditioning matter more than floor space. Larger groups splitting the cost across four or six people usually move up to a Class A.
Every rental includes 4 hours of generator use per rental day, which is the number that matters when the coach sits parked in the Texas heat for three days. It also includes 200 miles per rental day, most of which you will not use.
Nightly rates for each unit are on the reservation page, and the deposit, insurance and cleaning figures are on the rates page.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to have an RV delivered to Circuit of the Americas?
Delivery is $350 for the first 25 miles from our lot in Spring and $10 per mile after that. The circuit is roughly 170 miles away, which works out at about $1,800 for the delivery and the collection together. The rental itself is priced per night on top of that, and we quote the exact total before you book.
Do you book the camping pass for me?
No. You buy the RV or camping pass through Circuit of the Americas ticketing yourself, and you should do it early because those spots go before the grandstand seats do. Once you have it, we deliver to your assigned spot.
Do I need to be at the circuit when you deliver?
Yes. The circuit admits the named pass holder, so someone from your group has to meet us at the spot. You also get the walkthrough on the systems, which is worth being there for.
When should I book for the Formula 1 weekend?
As early as you can. Grand Prix weekend books out first every year, and the camping passes usually run out before our fleet does. If you already have a pass, come to us next.
Can we run the air conditioning all weekend?
On a powered spot, yes. On an unpowered spot you are on the generator, and the rental includes 4 hours per rental day with extra hours billed at the published rate. Tell us which kind of spot you have and we will set expectations honestly before you book.
