An RV at Prairie View for homecoming and home games
Prairie View sits in open country west of Houston, and the nearest hotel rooms fill fast when the campus has a big weekend on. Homecoming in particular brings families back from all over the state and beyond, and everyone needs somewhere to be between the tailgate, the band and the game.
We deliver the RV from our lot in Spring, level it at your spot, connect it and hand it over. You show up with the food and the folding chairs. When the weekend is done we come back and collect it.
Why families book one for this weekend
A tailgate that runs from the morning through to the evening needs a base. An RV gives you a bathroom, a working fridge, air conditioning and somewhere for older relatives and small children to sit down out of the sun, which is what turns a long day into an easy one.
It also means the drive home is not part of Saturday night. You sleep where you parked and leave in the morning.
Getting the RV to Prairie View
Prairie View A&M is roughly 45 miles from our lot in Spring, which makes it one of the shortest runs we do for an event. Delivery is $350 for the first 25 miles and $10 per mile after that, so a Prairie View delivery lands around $550 for the delivery and the collection together. Your quote carries the exact figure.
The mileage is measured one way, but it pays for four one way trips. We drive out to you, back to the lot, out again when your rental ends and back once more. Fuel is billed separately at the end of the rental.
Being this close also means we have more flexibility on timing than we do for a run to Austin or Baton Rouge.
Sort the parking first
Prairie View A&M handles its own game day and homecoming parking, and RV spots are limited and allocated ahead of time. Some groups park on campus, others use private land or a campground nearby. Whichever it is, you secure it and we deliver to it.
Send us the confirmation, the spot and the window you are allowed in, and we work to that schedule. You need to be there when we arrive, because the pass holder usually has to be present for a vehicle that size to be let through. The handover and walkthrough takes about half an hour.
What to book
For a homecoming weekend most groups take a bunkhouse trailer or a Class C, which sleeps the family and gives everyone else somewhere to sit. Larger family groups splitting the cost go to a Class A.
Every rental includes 4 hours of generator use per rental day, which matters if your spot has no power, and 200 miles per rental day.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is delivery to Prairie View?
Delivery is $350 for the first 25 miles from our lot in Spring and $10 per mile after that. Prairie View is roughly 45 miles away, so it comes to about $550 for the delivery and the collection together. The nightly rental is separate and we quote the exact total before you book.
Do you get the parking spot for me?
No. The university and the surrounding lots handle their own RV parking and you secure yours first. We deliver to a confirmed spot.
Do I need to be there when it arrives?
Yes. The named pass holder generally has to be present for an RV to be admitted, and being there means you get the systems walkthrough before your first night.
Can we book it for homecoming weekend?
Yes, and you should book early. Homecoming is the busiest weekend of the year here and the parking is usually gone before our fleet is.
Does the RV have to be plugged in?
No. It runs on the generator if your spot has no hookup, and the rental includes 4 hours per rental day with extra hours billed at the published rate. Tell us what your spot provides and we will set it up accordingly.
