One of our absolute favorite RV destinations in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. With clear water, cool air, and a stunning starry sky, it’s a beautiful place to camp. Luckily, there are plenty of RV campsites and RV resorts that offer lovely places to stay.

Whether you love the Texas Hill Country and want to plan a short trip or it’s your first time, we want to help you find the right place to stay. Enchanted Rock State Natural Area 

Enchanted Rock is a state park that is home to an ancient batholith. In laymen’s terms, it’s a gigantic rock. The sheer size offers hikers an unbelievable experience. From the top, you can enjoy gorgeous views of the Texas Hill Country.

While it’s a beautiful place to visit in the fall, anyone visiting in the summer should bring plenty of water. The Texas sun can make this hike a bit brutal at times.

Inks Lake State Park 

When you need a place to hang in your RV rental, Inks Lake is a great place to hide from the Texas sun. Home to the picturesque Devil’s Waterhole, it offers cool water and over 20 shelters. It also offers waterfront campsites and seven miles of trails to hike.

Colorado Bend State Park 

This stunning state park lies on the banks of the Colorado River. It’s a great place for a plethora of activities like hiking, swimming, bird watching, exploration, and kayaking. It is also home to the 60-foot Gorman Falls. This unique waterfall is actually growing over time instead of eroding over time.

Krause Springs and Your RV Rental 

Located near Driftwood, Krause Springs is a beauty to behold. When you travel here in your RV rental, you’ll have the chance to see a 30-foot waterfall as well as a grove of cypress trees. Rumor has it that some of the trees are around a thousand years old.

Krause Springs is a popular destination, and only the RV sites take reservations, so be sure to head there early when you plan to camp!

Garner State Park 

This state park offers almost 2,000 acres to explore. Located in Concan, it is very close to the Frio River. Garner is one of the most popular state parks in Texas, offering 10 miles of hiking trails and an array of water recreation activities. From golfing and biking to tubing and kayaking, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Guadalupe State Park 

Guadalupe River State Park encompasses a four-mile area of the Guadalupe River. Whether you choose an RV site with water and electric hook-ups or pitch a tent at a campsite, it offers a gorgeous place to stay. They have many activities for visitors, including tubing and kayaking.
